Merging the submarine expertise
kta naval systems AS was founded in October 2017 as a joint venture between thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, its Naval Electronic Systems business unit (ATLAS ELEKTRONIK) and Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace. The company sets a new standard for combat systems for non-nuclear submarines.
Based on the combined expertise of the joint venture partners, kta naval systems develops, produces and maintains as an exclusive supplier all combat systems for submarines from thyssenkrupp marine systems.
