The ORCCA architecture allows a straightforward scaling of the infrastructure to provide the exact set of capabilities and performance, which the navy really needs. The used COTS-and MOTS technologies in ORCCA allow for later upgrade of the sailing platform without the need to run major overhaul programs.
Operator tailored
The ORCCA user interface is implementing based on extensive workshops and feedback from users and customers. The aim was to optimize operator workflows in the Combat Information Center (CIC) and focus the information presentation to needs of operators allowing for fast and sound decision-making.

The ORCCA controls the diversity of HW platforms in the entire IT infrastructure stack by limiting variances to a minimum. This will enable the navies to optimize their logistic chains throughout the life span of the submarine platform.
